Local Governance
The business-led Middle Flint Workforce Investment Board, in conjunction with the Workforce System's Chief Local Elected Official, provides policy guidance on the design and operation of the Middle Flint Workforce Development System.
The Middle Flint Regional Development Center administers the Workforce System on behalf of the Middle Flint Workforce Investment Board.
Implementation of workforce development services in the eight county Middle Flint area of Georgia is based on the Federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998.
